As the COVID crisis in NSW continues to worsen, we know many of our members are struggling with increased workloads, understaffing, workplace transmissions and concerns for the welfare of patients, colleagues and the broader community.

We continue to represent and advocate for doctors across hospitals and a State level with regular meetings with the Ministry through this crisis. Some examples of how we have recently assisted members include:

  • Ensuring members are fit tested, including before being redeployed
  • Assisting members to submit working from home applications that were previously rejected at Liverpool
  • Assisting vulnerable workers to in the redeployment process
  • Ensuring DITs have scrubs when working with Covid patients

We have also relaunched our COVID FAQs at, which we encourage you to share with your colleagues.

The site includes answers to some of the most common questions members have asked us, including on:

  • safety & PPE
  • leave & pay
  • redeployment
  • working from home
  • JMO rotations
  • vaccination
  • talking to the media + more.

If you have a question or concern that is not answered on the site, please reach out via the contact page.

Thank you for hard work, care and compassion in these challenging circumstances. Please reach out to us if we can be of assistance -
