Office Accommodation Update

12-Oct-2018

ASMOF NSW would like to thank its members for providing their feedback regarding the Ministry of Health’s ( Ministry) draft Workspace Office Accommodation Policy. We received an overwhelming amount of feedback which we included (de-identified) in our response to the Ministry. Your feedback has been crucial in exemplifying the seriousness of this matter and its wide reaching impact including issues of patient confidentiality, training of junior doctors, health of staff and job satisfaction.

The matter returned to the Industrial Relations Commission yesterday where it was stood over for report back on 3 December 2018. During this time the Ministry is to provide their formal response and meet with the health unions to discuss the issues raised by the health unions.

ASMOF NSW’s fight against open plan offices and activity based working continues and we appreciate your ongoing support!
