Rostering for Best Practice Documents – Far West LHD

15-Dec-2017

On 12 December 2017, Far West Local Health District forwarded two new Rostering Policy Compliance Procedure documents for ASMOF, HSU and NSWNMA’s review and comment: ‘Rostering Best Practice – FWLHD’ and ‘Rostering Information for Staff – FWLHD’. The accompanying email stated that (subject to feedback received) it is intended that the documents be printed, ready for training to commence in February 2018.

Comment was sought, prior to 12 January 2018. Along with the HSU, ASMOF has sought an extension of the review period until 31 January 2018.

ASMOF has also contacted HR Workforce at HealthShare, asking if the new procedural documents represent the first part of a State-wide rollout, and if the documents are set to replace the existing State-wide ‘Rostering Best Practice Resource Manual’. ASMOF will also seek to identify the nature of the training that is due to be taking place in February 2018.

If you have any comments and concerns regarding the proposed rostering policy and staff information, please email to Steve Teece, at stevet@asmof.org.au by COB Tuesday, 9 January 2018 (subject to our request for an extension).
