The 2020 Medical Training Survey will open soon

The 2020 Medical Training Survey (MTS) opens on 3 August, giving Australia's 30,000+ doctors in training a voice about the quality and experience of medical training in Australia.

ASMOF encourages all medical officer (DiT) members in NSW to complete the survey.

We also ask all other members to support your colleague doctors in training to do the survey.

The Medical Training Survey is a national, profession-wide survey of all doctors in training in Australia. It is a confidential way to get national, comparative, profession-wide data to strengthen medical training in Australia.

By getting feedback from doctors in training, the survey will deliver robust national data that will help improve medical training. Aggregated, anonymous results will help identify potential issues in medical training that could impact on patient safety, so these can be addressed.

More participants mean better quality data and a strong evidence base for ongoing improvements.

This year’s survey will allow doctors in training to comment on the impact of COVID-19 on their training. There will also be updated questions on the culture of medicine will create a clearer picture of bullying and harassment.
