Your Pay Increase - Update

Last newsletter we reported on the 2.5% pay increase that you will receive under your Award.

Following the NSW IRC making the Awards it was our expectation that the 2.5% pay increase would have been delivered in this week’s pay. This would have been consistent with the Awards provisions that the increase would be effective from the first full pay period on or after 1st July 2019.

However, we have been informed that the pay increase will be delivered across two pay cycles:

  1. Pay cycle 1 increases will be paid the next pay cycle 25 July 2019. This will include backpay from the first full pay period on or after 1st July 2019.
  2. Pay cycle 2 increases will be paid the next pay cycle 1 August 2019. This will include backpay from the first full pay period on or after 1st July 2019.

NSW Health will be communicating this to the Districts to allow them to inform members.
