Your salary will increase by 2.5% in your next pay

All members employed in the NSW Health Service, NSW Police and the Schedule 3 Affiliated Health Organisations will receive a 2.5% salary increase from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2019.

All the relevant Award applications have been made to the NSW Industrial Relations Commission and you should see your increased salary in your next pay packet.

If you want to guarantee that we win a pay increase every year for members then we urge you to encourage your colleagues to join the Doctors' union.

Our ability to win pay increases lies in the strength we gain in Member numbers and your dedication and commitment to real and sustainable wage increases for salaried Doctors.

We have also received a commitment from the Ministry of Health that the ED Allowance would continue for another year. And we are currently in discussions with the Ministry to determine the annual TESL funding amount for the 2019/20 financial year.

Finally, a reminder that your Union membership is fully tax deductable. To claim your deduction, you need your Union fee receipt or a statement from the Union (or Alliance for DiTs).
